From Avington Park's Point Of View Green Building is the Only Way

Avington Park, through its development company Heritage Green, is committed to green building communities and helping people understand green building practices. We hope to accomplish our green mission in Avington Park through a variety of methods. Our idea of green building means getting closer to nature, preserving it, and at times, enhancing it. In Avington Park, we will achieve this through careful planning and consideration of all the elements that make up the land, maintaining its integrity and discovering ways to improve it. Our gift to future residents is creating this inspiring community with purpose and meaning that truly respects the history of the land.

We are in the process of putting together a guidebook that will outline the principles of green building. Our residents will be given a book that describes the plants and animals that inhabit their land. These materials will assist in bringing the residents closer to nature and helping them to understand how they can do their part to preserve our environment.

Avington Park’s commitment to green building also focuses on best practices. Taking the extra time to do it the right way always leads to a more positive outcome. We have thoroughly researched each partner involved with our development. From the custom home builders to the suppliers of environmentally friendly building materials, only the best will do.
